Job Description – Talent Operations Specialist
Reports To: Talent Operations Coordinator
Position Overview:
The Talent Operations Specialist will support the organization’s talent acquisition efforts and assist with various human resources functions. This role focuses primarily on sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates while providing administrative support to the HR team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with potential candidates and support existing employees.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment (60%):
Assist in the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to offer letter preparation.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and draft job descriptions.
Source and screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with the hiring team.
Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate data and progress tracking
2. Onboarding /Offboarding and Engagement (30%):
Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have all necessary provisioning, documentation and information.
Conduct HR orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies, culture, and expectations.
Manage exit processes, including conducting exit interviews and coordinating offboarding procedures.
3. HR Administration (10%)
Assist in maintaining and updating employee records, including personal information, benefits, and payroll data.
Assist in benefits administration, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives, training sessions, and team-building events
Assist in maintaining accurate and confidential HR documentation, including employee contracts, NDAs, and performance evaluations.
Help with record-keeping, document retention, and archiving.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in recruitment and HR administration.
Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
